Education

The Education Sector in the UK is facing many different challenges as demands increase and resources are constrained.  Many Education establishments are very large and very complex organisations that have a diverse set of requirements from their IT provision.

Educational Establishments focus on driving the boundaries of thinking and understanding forward and so the IT systems and processes must support this focus.

We have provided services into the Education Sector that have been tailored specifically to meet the requirements of the establishment and we are aware of the often conflicting requirements that may arise from different parts of the organisation.  In particular the Stakeholders in an Education assignment often have completely different perspectives on an issue and therefore we ensure that our Stakeholder management and communication plan takes into account the nuances of the environment than we are working in.

Recent examples of our work in the Education Sector are:

Finance System Requirements

Itica was engaged to gather the Business requirements for the University of Cambridge Finance System. This formed the first stage of the University’s Finance System Strategy.

Web Hosting

Itica led the business and market assessment for the Web Hosting requirements for an existing client. The Discover and Define stages of the Itica process were used to ensure the client established a Web Hosting provider who would meet their current and future needs.

Thanks for your excellent work on a very sensitive assignment.
