We are very pleased to be working on some exciting new projects with Epping Forest District Council, covering the areas of corporate ICT strategy and capability, staff accommodation and the procurement of a new software solution to support their repairs and maintenance operation.
Epping Forest District Council (EFDC) is based in South West Essex and is working on the achievement of several corporate objectives under the broad headings of “Strong Communities”, “Stronger Place” and “Stronger Council”.
EFDC’s aspiration is to deliver more services digitally and increase overall business efficiency as part of its mission to put customers at the heart of its business. itica’s engagement with EFDC will help them to shape their ICT strategy and capability to ensure that these aspirations can be realised.
John Doughty, itica Director and lead consultant on these projects commented “As a business focused IT management consultancy, itica is well placed to help EFDC with these initiatives. We bring to the table a thorough knowledge of Local Authority business coupled with a structured thinking process and a series of best practice methodologies which we will use to benchmark capabilities against EFDC’s strategic objectives and desired outcomes.”
Earlier this year itica worked with EFDC to help them evaluate technology options for their Housing, Asset Management and DLO functions moving forward. Itica’s consultancy methodologies ensure that there is an equal focus on technology, processes, organisation (people) and information. Combining this focus with our local authority and housing domain expertise, we were able to ensure that corporate ICT considerations were taken into account when assessing the market and supplier capabilities to meet EFDC’s requirements.
